We encourage photographers to use their own imagination and personal experiences to interpret the theme
We all give and receive support as we go about our everyday lives – from family, friends, neighbours, teachers, colleagues and everyone in between.
An encouraging smile, a helping hand, a good blether, what makes you happy. Who listens to you when you are low, who picks you up when you are down, what lifts your spirits. What keeps you mentally healthy, who helps you to stay positive.
The competition is open to anyone living in Scotland who is interested in taking photographs whether you are a complete beginner, someone with a keen interest or an experienced photographer.
You don't need to be a professional photographer, we encourage complete beginners to enter and all you need is a keen interest and access to a camera.
You can check the 'see me' website for tips on what makes a good photograph.
Closing date for entries is 17th September 2010.
For more information see www.seemephotocomp.co.uk
All the entries will be displayed in the Central Library, Edinburgh during Mental Health Arts and Film Festival form 1st - 22nd October 2010.
